Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce will host its 6th annual Bruce Peninsula car tour and classic car show on Sunday, Aug. 9. The family-friendly, two-part motoring event is open to the public, regardless of the vehicle type driven.
The event begins from 10 to 11 a.m. at either Port Elgin’s PLEX or the Sauble Beach Community Centre, where volunteers will distribute physical route maps guiding drivers through scenic back roads along Lake Huron.

The tour begins at 11 a.m., visiting places around Bruce County such as Wiarton, Sauble Beach, Oliphant, Red Bay, Howdenvale, Pike Bay and Hepworth.
The cruise concludes at the newly rebuilt Royal Canadian Legion facility in Hepworth, which replaces the previous hall destroyed by a fire in 2022. The Legion will host lunch, a viewing of classic cars parked at the Hepworth Shallow Lake Legion Park, and a 50/50 charity draw.
