There’s an information session next week about Bruce Power’s proposed Bruce C Project.
The nuclear operator is looking at building another nuclear reactor, and is currently going through the impact assessment phase of the proposal.
Bruce Power is inviting everyone to participate in a virtual livestream Tuesday, August 4th at 7 p.m. to learn more about the Bruce C Project.
The meeting will be hosted by James Scongack, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President.
This livestream will provide an update on what Bruce Power has heard through the Impact Statement phase of the Impact Assessment process for the Bruce C Project, along with upcoming key project milestones.
Bruce Power says it wants to add up to 4,800 megawatts of new nuclear capacity at its Tiverton site. The Bruce Power site already supplies roughly 30 per cent of Ontario’s clean electricity.
