Northern Bruce Peninsula has acquired land in Lion’s Head for the future development of recreational facilities.
Located south of Ferndale Road on Main Street, the property “provides the municipality with an opportunity to undertake long-term planning for expanded recreational and community amenities within the municipality.”
“Acquiring this property is an important step toward ensuring that Lion’s Head has the land and flexibility needed to support future recreational opportunities,” says Mayor Milt McIver. “This is a long-term investment in the health, well-being and quality of life of our residents. We look forward to working with the community as plans for the property are developed.”
