Huronia West OPP say they continue to receive reports of youth-related behaviour involving the misuse of bear spray, flares, and fireworks.
The incidents may involve both local residents and visitors to the area.
When used in a manner that is intended to cause harm or poses a risk to public safety, these items may be considered weapons and can result in provincial or criminal charges with serious, long-term consequences.
OPP say if you witness any dangerous behaviour, please call 911 when there is an immediate risk to public safety.
