Hospitals in Huron County are getting over $6.8 million in funding from the province for repairs and upgrades.
The Ontario government announced the latest round of funding through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The Wingham & District Hospital is receiving the largest portion, picking up $897,286.
That is followed by the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich, at $362,281, and the South Huron Hospital, at $347,824.
In the same round of funding, the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance picked up $5,220,021, covering hospitals in Clinton and Seaforth.
