Today is expected to be the hottest day ā which should start to ease tomorrow and/or Thursday,
And according to The Weather Network, surface-level smoke from northern wildfires is expected to move into southern Ontario starting mid-week, leading to significantly reduced air quality.

The City of Orillia has opened cooling and hydration centres . The Orillia Public Library and Orillia Recreation Centre are available during regular operating hours. Splash pads are open daily from 9 to 9, and lifeguard hours at Couchiching and Moose beaches have been extended until 6 p.m.
