A 21 year old Barrie man is facing several charges after speeding away from police three times Tuesday night.
Barrie Police saw the man driving well above the speed limit and driving erratically in the Anne St and
Essa Road area just before 11pm. He was pulled over, but took off as soon as the offier stepped out of the police vehicle.
Another officer spotted him a bit later at Ardaugh and Patterson – again the driver sped off after a stop was initiated. The same scene played out after that at Essa and Verterans Drive.
Officers brought the man’s dangerous driving spree to an end when the vehicle was located in the area of Beacon Road around 11:30 p.m.
The man faces five criminal charges.
