Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital has a new President and CEO.
Mary Silverthorn has previously served as Chair of the Hospital’s Board of Directors and has provided extensive senior leadership at OPP HQ in Orillia.
Additionally, Silverthorn has the rare distinction of serving both as a past governor of the hospital and as a former team member, including a dual role spanning OSMH and Muskoka Algonquin Health Care as Integrated Vice-President, Human Resources.
Silverthorn succeeds Carmine Stumpo, who stepped down from the role on April 2, 2026
