Two GTA people have been charged following a late morning robbery in Orillia today.
Police say just before 11am two people armed with hammers robbed a business on Front Street North near Neywash Street – officers were able to locate the suspects when they stopped a vehicle on Hwy 11 south in Oro-Medonte.
The stolen goods were recovered and the suspects are charged with robbery, disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime and weapons offences.
Both, from Mississauga, have been held pending a bail hearing tomorrow in Orillia (Wednesday July 8)
