The TC Transcontinental Owen Sound Girls U11 Field Lacrosse North Stars travelled to Orillia on Sunday for their final regular season games.
The girls opened the day against the first place Oshawa Lady Blue Knights 1, falling 23-3. It was a tough match-up against a strong opponent, but the North Stars continued to compete from start to finish. Dani Adair and Hadlee Bechamp each found the back of the net for Owen Sound.
In their second game, the North Stars battled the Orillia Lady Kings 1 to an exciting 11-11 tie. Dani Adair led the offence with seven goals, while Tae Wilson added two. Lily Barnard and Piper Coburn each chipped in with a goal.
The TC Transcontinental Owen Sound Girls U11 Field Lacrosse North Stars will be back in action on Wednesday for an exhibition game in Orangeville to keep their sticks in their hands and continue building momentum before heading to Provincials in Kitchener-Waterloo on the weekend of July 17th.
