A Toronto woman is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision in the Township of Chatsworth.
OPP say on Thursday, at about 9:24 p.m., Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to the area of 70 Sideroad and East Back Line after receiving a report of a vehicle in a ditch.
Officers attended the scene and spoke with the driver, who had reported the collision. During the interaction, police began an impaired driving investigation and subsequently arrested the driver.
Police have charged a 31 year old woman from Toronto with operation while impaired by alcohol, blood alcohol concentration over 80mg, dangerous operation and driving with an open container of liquor. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
OPP say there were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound in August.
