HuronTel has donated $100,000 to the BUILDKD+ campaign to enhance learning, athletics, arts, technology and skilled trades spaces in the new Kincardine District Senior School.
“This generous donation to the BUILDKD+ campaign brings us one step closer to making the dreams of our students and community come to life,” said Don Burns, principal of KDSS and BUILDKD+ campaign chair. “HuronTel’s support shows their deep connection to our community and their dedication to our future.”
HuronTel, a local provider of internet, television and phone services, made the contribution as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
The $100,000 donation from HuronTel represents another major step forward in the effort to raise $4.5 million for enhancements that go beyond the base school build. These enhancements include improved technology and skilled trades learning environments, a state-of-the-art track and field complex, modern arts and performance spaces, and flexible learning environments.
