
Two people face firearms charges after the OPP raided a residence in Brockton.
South Bruce OPP say a search warrant was executed last Thursday (June 25) somewhere along Bruce Road 15 in Brockton, and resulted in the seizure of two firearms and five imitation firearms. Police also seized ammunition.
The OPP West Region Emergency Response team and canine unit were called in to assist with the search.
Police did not provide further information about the specific location of the residence they searched along Bruce Road 15.
“An investigation initiated by members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police, major crimes units and community street crimes unit led investigators to an address in the Municipality of Brockton,” South Bruce OPP say in a release.
Two people from Brockton, ages 43 and 25, face several firearms related charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, and careless storage of a firearm.
