There’s a road closure planned on a main route in Owen Sound this for infrastructure work.
Owen Sound city officials say 9th Avenue East (Highway 6) between 8th Street East and 9th Street East will close completely Tuesday and Wednesday for the installation of sanitary sewer service to a private property.
A detour will direct drivers between 8th Street East, 16th Avenue East and 10th Street East.
Public transit routes will also be affected by the closure. Riders are advised to check the transit app for real-time information.
