Max Fransen has signed with the Owen Sound Attack.
The team made the announcement Friday, confirming the defenceman and first-round pick, 8th overall, in the 2026 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection has inked a standard OHL Scholarship and Development agreement.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Max and his family to the Owen Sound Attack organization,” Attack President and General Manager Tyler Nother says in a release. “Max’s intelligence, leadership, and competitiveness are exactly what we look for in an Attack player, and we believe he has the potential to become a cornerstone defenceman for our hockey club.”
