Provincial Police have released more information about a response in Huron-Kinloss earlier this week, when aviation and canine units, and the OPP Emergency Response Team were called in.
South Bruce OPP say they responded to a report of an altercation at a residence on Amberley Beach Road, south of Point Clark, prior to 3 a.m. early Tuesday morning.
A containment area was set up as police tried to locate a male involved in the alleged incident.
The OPP aviation unit, canine unit and emergency response team assisted with the search.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm, and failure to comply with release order.
The accused attended a bail hearing in Walkerton yesterday, and was subsequently released.
