The Kruger Custom Steel North Stars U9-2 girls braved a rainy day in Peterborough on Sunday, coming away with one win and one loss.
In Game 1, the North Stars earned a well-deserved victory over the Orillia Lady Kings 2. Strong defensive play was the foundation of the win, with the girls working hard, supporting one another, and continuing to show improvement as a team.
In Game 2, the North Stars faced a more experienced Newmarket Redbirds squad and came up short.
Despite the wet and rainy conditions, the North Stars embraced the weather and had plenty of fun throughout the day.
