Georgian Bluffs is offering refunds for unused garbage bag tags.
The Township is transitioning to a new cart-based waste collection system, which begins July 6th.
Under the new system, residents will no longer require bag tags for household garbage collection.
Refunds will be available from July 2 to September 30th, for unused bag tags in good condition that match the current Township design. Residents will receive the current purchase price of $2.25 per tag.
The Township says cash refunds will be provided for returns of between four and 20 bag tags. Residents returning 21 or more bag tags will receive their refund by cheque.
