Another fantastic Sunday for the TC Transcontinental Owen Sound Girls U11 Field Lacrosse North Stars! The team travelled to Toronto to take on the Oshawa Lady Blue Knights 2 and the Toronto Beaches. The girls put together two strong performances, earning impressive 20–12 and 16–7 victories.
In the first game against Oshawa, Dani Adair led the offence with an impressive nine goals. Emily Gladwell added four, while Piper Coburn scored twice. Rounding out the scoring with single goals were Rylah Neilly, Grace Gunn, Lily Barnard, Tae Wilson, and Jaida Kazarian.
In the second game against Toronto, Dani Adair once again led the way, finding the back of the net six times. Emily Gladwell and Tae Wilson each scored twice, while Lily Barnard, Parker Downie, Logan Quaid, Marley Davenport, Piper Coburn, and Grace Gunn each added a goal.
A special shoutout to Hadlee Bechamp, who scored a goal in last week’s game against the Burlington Blaze. Her goal was inadvertently missed in the game recap, and we wanted to make sure she received the recognition she earned. Great job, Hadlee!
The TC Transcontinental Owen Sound Girls U11 Field Lacrosse North Stars will look to keep their momentum going next Sunday as they travel to Peterborough.
