Huron County’s annual Pride Festival is returning for the fourth year.
The 2026 edition of the festival moves to Goderich’s Lion’s Harbour Park, following nearly a full week of events throughout the county.
Huron County Pride hosted a craft night in Seaforth, a tie dye event in Exeter, and a Pride church service in Blyth ahead of Saturday’s Festival.
The first ever Pride festival took place in 2023, and was approved to run in Goderich the same evening a rainbow crosswalk was approved for the town.
That crosswalk can be seen on Courthouse Square at the entrance to West Street.
Huron County Pride was founded in the summer of 2022, with officials looking to meet the needs of the under-represented LGBTQ+ community along Ontario’s West Coast.
It is the third iteration of an LGBTQ+ organization for the county, after its predecessors PFLAG Goderich and Huron PRIDE dissolved.
