Two people face drug and weapons charges after the OPP executed a search warrant in Kincardine.
The OPP’s west region tactics and rescue unit, emergency response team and canine unit were called in to assist local and drug enforcement officers in a search of a home on Princes Street in Kincardine on May 22.
South Bruce OPP issued a news release today (June 4) about the warrant.
Police say they seized illegal narcotics and six firearms in the search.
Two Kincardine men in their 20s were arrested and face several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The OPP say both were held for bail hearings and subsequently released, with court dates in Walkerton later this month.
