A 56-year-old man from Springwater Township has been charged in connection with a road rage incident involving a group of motorcyclists.
Barrie Police received an online traffic complaint – with video evidence – On May 13, 2026, detailing the incident the day before.
The video showed a pickup truck swerving toward a motorcycle on Bayfield Street near Hanmer. A verbal interaction then took place between another rider and the pickup truck driver, after which the truck swerved dangerously toward that motorcycle.
Barrie Police ID’d the pickup truck driver, who has since been charged with dangerous operation.
