Owen Sound North Stars U13, U15, and U17 girls’ box lacrosse teams hit the floor this past weekend at the Kitchener-Waterloo Lax Angels Tournament, competing from May 22 to 24.
Facing strong competition from teams across Ontario, the players brought intensity, determination, and teamwork to every game.
The U13 team posted a 1-2-1 record over the weekend, with their lone victory coming in a tight 5-4 win against the Centre Wellington Riverhawks.
The U15 team also went 1-2-1, capturing their win with a dominant 6-1 performance against the Hamilton Bengals.
The U17 team finished the weekend at 2-2, defeating Centre Wellington 7-6 and the Barrie Bombers 6-4.
The teams are back in action at home on June 30, with back-to-back games starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre.
