South Simcoe Police have charged a 31 year old Barrie man with manslaughter, and a 26 year old Barrie woman with failing to provide the necessities of life in connection to the death of an infant in 2024.
On November 8h that year, Police responded to a
medical service call involving an infant at a residence on Algonquin Avenue in the Town of Innisfil.
On November 10, 2024, the infant died in hospital due to injuries that were sustained on November 8,
2024.
Two days ago, officers from South Simcoe Police Service executed warrants at a Barrie residence and made the arrests.
