Lights out, banners up, summer is almost here.
The City of Owen Sound will be removing seasonal cross-street Noma lights and installing seasonal banners this week.
Public works crews will be closing one block at a time to minimize the disruption on 2nd Avenue East.
They will start Tuesday with the 700 block of 2nd Avenue East, which will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
No intersections will be affected and businesses will remain accessible.
Wednesday, the work will shift to the 800 block of 2nd Avenue East. Then the 900 block on Thursday and 1000 block Friday.
