Roselawn Bowling Club opened on Monday for its 104th season.
Running from May 18th until early fall, the club in Owen Sound has drop-in nights on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings.
Wednesday nights are league nights as the club is also planning on creating morning sessions.
“It’s a great game,” says Roselawn president Jim Ansell. “People might think of lawn bowlers as formal and all dressed in white but the club is very casual and social.
Visitors are welcome to drop in to any regular bowling night and try it out.
The club offers two free visits per year and will be hosting two open houses on June 6 and June 7.
