The Owen Sound and Area Association of Volunteer Administrators is hosting a Spring Volunteer Fair at the Grey Bruce Makers Space on May 20.
Admission is free to the event from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the primary goal of gathering everyone in one place to make it easier for the public to explore volunteer opportunities.
Roughly 17 organizations will be there to explain to potential volunteers what they could be doing.
Many organizations need these volunteers as they play an important role in ensuring communities can continue to provide a wide range of social, arts, culture, service and support programs for their residents.
