The Grey-Bruce Home and Lifestyle Show is coming to Owen Sound.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 3rd.
It will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and JD McArthur Arena.
The City says there will be gardening displays, adventure and travel gear, and everything you need for a home renovation, noting, “The show offers a one-stop opportunity to connect with experts in windows, doors, siding, fencing, decking, gutters, and patio enclosures.”
They say you can “explore innovations in hybrid commuter bikes, shower kits, eco-friendly household products, and a variety of health and wellness offerings, including cosmetics and nutritional products.”
There will be outdoor vehicles, farm equipment and lawn mowers. There are also Tesla test drives and you can check out boats, cabins, decks and docks.
There are 30 businesses participating in a ‘passport program.’ If you grab your passport at the entrance and collect stamps from participating vendors, you could have a chance to win $1,000.
Adult admission for this event is $5, and kids who are 12 and under can enter for free.
Kids can also enjoy seed planting.
This show is a collaborative partnership between the city of Owen Sound, the Knights of Columbus, and the Grey Bruce Home Builders Association to raise funds for community projects.
