Affordable housing complex at 211 Gibbons Street, Goderich (From: County of Huron).
Huron County has entered into an agreement with the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness.
The Built for Zero initiative is a national movement of communities working to end chronic homelessness through the use of real-time data, coordinated access systems, and continuous improvement strategies.
Built for Zero will support the county with strengthening the use of real-time, person-specific data, enhancing coordinated access and prioritization processes, and aligning local efforts to end chronic homelessness with national best practices.
Participation in Built for Zero provides communities with access to a structured framework, technical support, and a network of peer communities across Canada.
By being part of the initiative, Huron County joins nearby communities of London and Stratford-Perth-St. Mary’s in accessing program resources, supports, and funding opportunities.
