Caledon OPP, along with Peel Regional Police and the Canada Border Services agency have charged one person in relation to two shooting incidents.
The shootings happened in the Town of Caledon and the City of Brampton.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the OPP responded to an incident on Old School Road, and no injuries were reported.
Shortly after, Peel Regional Police were called to a shooting incident on Advance Boulevard in Brampton. The incidents were linked to extortion related activity in the area.
On Friday, a 23-year-old from British Columbia was arrested and charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court today.
