A 34-year-old Grey Highlands man faces charges in relation to what the OPP are describing as a “high risk” driving incident in Flesherton.
Grey Bruce OPP say officers were conducting speed radar enforcement in Flesherton just after 11 p.m. Wednesday evening, when they allege a northbound vehicle was clocked going 125 kilometres an hour, in a posted 50 km/h zone.
“As the officer attempted to catch up to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle attempted to pass another northbound vehicle, forcing a southbound motorist to pull onto the shoulder of the road,” Grey Bruce OPP say in a release.
The OPP say they managed to stop the vehicle, and allege the driver show signs of impairment.
The 34-year-old Grey Highlands man was arrested and charged with several offences, including operation while impaired and dangerous operation. He was also ticketed for stunt driving, failing to signal and other Highway Traffic Act offences.
