Grey County says the redevelopment of Rockwood Terrace has passed the halfway mark, bringing expanded long-term care services closer to completion in southern Grey County.
The new facility in Durham will replace the current Rockwood Terrace home and increase capacity from 100 beds to 128.
Grey County Warden Andrea Matrosovs says the milestone reflects the county’s commitment to high-quality, publicly run long-term care.
She says the new home will offer a modern, resident-focused environment designed to support dignity, comfort, and quality of life for decades to come.
To celebrate the 50 per cent completion mark, Grey County has released a project update video featuring on-site construction footage and commentary from the project team.
Residents can also follow progress through a live construction camera, updated every 15 minutes, on the project webpage at Grey County’s website.
