Collingwood OPP charged two area people with impaired over the last few days – the first a 26 year old Meaford man who, after a single vehicle collision around 10:30 at night decided to canvas residents in the neighbourhood for help. Police answered a call for a suspicious person which led to impaired driving charges.
The second involved a 38 year old Wasaga Beach man – he was pulled over in the area of Hume and Minnesota Streets in Collingwood – he netted himself 16 charges including impaired, weapons offences, and several possession of drugs charges.
Both have been relieved of their licences for 90 days with their vehicles impounded for 7 days.
