A refined design for the proposed Marriott hotel on Beach Drive in Wasaga Beach has been unveiled.
The premium Marriott-branded hotel is the first phase of a broad multi-phase development led by Sunray Group.
The full-service hotel will feature premium accommodations of approximatley 160 rooms, year-round dining, event spaces, a full-service spa and a Festival Square adjacent to the hotel to be used for events, performances, and community programming.
The project could create more than 100 local jobs. If approved, construction is slated to start this summer.
