2025-2026 was a record-breaking fundraising year for the United Way of Perth-Huron.
Officials say they raised more than $4.8 million through the organization’s annual campaign and United Housing initiative.
The fundraising total included $2.56 million raised through the annual campaign, as well as $2.27 million secured for United Housing through a mix of donations, community bonds, grants and low-interest municipal loans.
The news follows a massive fundraising campaign for the Coldest Night of the Year, where fundraisers in Goderich and area cracked the Top 25 country-wide, bringing in over $156 thousand.
