A Grey County resident is celebrating a big lottery win after Tuesday night’s LOTTO MAX draw.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), a winning ENCORE ticket worth $1 million was sold in Grey County, making it one of the top prizes awarded across the province in the April 7 draw.
While the $75 million jackpot went unclaimed, several other крупных prizes were handed out, including a $1 million MAXMILLIONS ticket in Ottawa and a second prize worth $143,195.10 in Brampton. Additional ENCORE prizes of $100,000 were also won in Simcoe County and Windsor.
OLG is encouraging all players to check their tickets as soon as possible using the OLG mobile app or by visiting a licensed lottery retailer.
The next LOTTO MAX draw is scheduled for Friday, with an estimated jackpot of $18 million.
Since its launch in 2009, LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won more than $9.8 billion in prizes.
OLG also notes that 100 per cent of its profits are reinvested into communities across Ontario, supporting public services and programs.
