The Simcoe County District School Board is holding a series of consultations for students, staff and parents in Black families to address what the Board acknowledges as systemic racism in education.
The Ontario Human Rights Commission issued a report on the matter which has spawned the consultations.
Consultations in our area will be held in Midland at Georgian Bay District Secondary School April 21st from 5-7pm, Collingwood at CCI April 22nd from 3-5pm, and in Orillia April 23rd from 6-8pm.
There is a virtual session scheduled for May 7th 6-8pm.
