
Hanover & District Hospital is celebrating strong results from its 2025–26 Global Workforce Survey, highlighting continued growth in staff satisfaction, workplace culture, and patient care.
Hospital officials say the survey saw strong participation from staff and showed improvements across nearly every category, building on an already solid foundation.
CEO Dana Howes says the results reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
Among the key improvements, work-life balance scores increased by 12.3 per cent, while stress indicators improved by 11.4 per cent, with fewer employees reporting high daily stress. Comfort in being oneself at work also rose by 11.3 per cent, reinforcing the hospital’s focus on inclusion.
Patient care continues to be a standout area, with 100 per cent of respondents reporting that patients are treated with respect and dignity. More than 95 per cent said patients and families are included in care decisions, while over 96 per cent reported strong safety practices.
Hospital leaders say the results demonstrate continued momentum and reflect the professionalism and dedication of staff in delivering high-quality care to the community.
