You can get an early look at the next phase of construction in downtown Goderich.
An open house discussing Phases 3 and 4 of the Courthouse Square reconstruction project will be taking place March 25th at Goderich Town Hall, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Officials say the open house will allow the public to meet members of the team in charge of the reconstruction, including town staff, architects, and construction workers.
The two-year reconstruction project was prompted by a need to replace century-old infrastructure beneath the roads and sidewalks downtown.
Construction is expected to continue until the end of 2026, with a grand re-opening of Downtown Goderich in the Spring of 2027.
