The Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation has received a $25,000 donation through a fundraising campaign organized by employees at Superheat.
The initiative — titled “$25K in 2025: Imaging a Better Tomorrow” — ran throughout 2025 and raised funds to support critical diagnostic imaging equipment at the Kincardine hospital.
The campaign was driven by Superheat staff through payroll deductions, company-matched donations, and a series of employee-led and community fundraising events.
Foundation president Becky Fair says “The success of this campaign is a testament to what can be achieved when a company and its people come together in support of local health care,”
Norm MacArthur, who founded Superheat in Kincardine, says “This campaign reflects what is possible when people come together around a cause that truly matters. Our employees stepped up in a meaningful way, and their collective efforts will have a lasting impact on patient care in our community.”
Funds raised will help purchase essential imaging equipment, beginning with a new MRI machine. Officials say improved access to MRI services will help reduce travel and wait times for patients while supporting hospital staff and improving care across the region.
The foundation also notes that hospital equipment is not funded by the province and relies heavily on community and corporate donations.
Superheat, founded in Kincardine by Norm MacArthur, operates internationally but continues to maintain strong ties to the local community through initiatives like this campaign.
