The Town of Goderich cracked the Top 25 country-wide, in a charity fundraising walk.
The Coldest Night of the Year walk in Goderich took place February 28th, benefiting the Huron Homelessness Initiative.
Officials with the United Way of Perth-Huron say the fundraising total for the Coldest Night walk is $156,227.
That surpasses the goal of $150 thousand, and includes funds raised for walks in Clinton, Auburn, and Seaforth.
The total also puts Goderich in 24th place nationally, ahead of major cities like Fredericton, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, London, and Waterloo.
