Rehabilitation on the Durham Street bridge will resume today.
Bruce County says that motorists can expect intermittent lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place.
Weight restrictions on the Durham Street bridge are also in effect, with alternative routes posted for trucks.
The weight restriction is a 3-level load limit, corresponding to the configuration and size of heavy vehicles, based on the number of axles:
– 15 tonnes for single-unit trucks (typically with two axles)
– 25 tonnes for larger trucks or tractor-trailers with more axles
– 30 tonnes for multi-axle combinations or full tractor-trailer units
Phase 2, which is primarily focused on resurfacing, is expected to last until July.
