The OPP are appealing for tips to help identify two suspects who allegedly shoplifted from a business in Mount Forest.
Wellington OPP say they responded to a report of a theft from the Shoppers Drug Mart on Main Street North in Mount Forest around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police say they learned two suspects entered the store between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, and concealed nearly $3,000 of medicinal products inside their jackets and then left the store.
The OPP say two male suspects left the area in a four-door sedan.
Security camera images of the suspects were released by the OPP. They’re asking anyone who can help identify the pair to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
It’s not immediately clear if this alleged theft from a pharmacy in Mount Forest is linked to others reported by Hanover Police, who earlier this month charged a “professional shoplifter” and also provided information about a “Romanian crime group of professional shoplifters in the Greater Toronto Area that has been targeting communities across Ontario.”
