The investigation continues into a collision that claimed the life of a pedestrian on Tuesday evening.
Owen Sound Police said in a media release that they had responded to a serious collision between a pickup truck and a pedestrian at the intersection of 10th Street East and 16th Avenue East.
The collision happened at around 8pm on the evening of Tuesday, February 17th.
Police say that the pickup was turning left onto 16th Avenue East when it struck the pedestrian, who was crossing the roadway.
The female pedestrian was taken to a London-area trauma centre, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Witnesses also remained at the scene, and also spoke with police.
