Police have charged a woman following a traffic stop in the town.
Dufferin OPP were going a RIDE spot check earlier today (Feb. 17) at around midnight.
They say when one vehicle tried to avoid the check point, officers followed and pulled it over.
Officers found drug paraphernalia which led to a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation.
A 48-year old woman from Shelburne was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of unmarked cigarettes.
Meanwhile a 47-year old also from Shelburne and a 49-year old from Mono were both released.
