West Grey Police are appealing for tips to try and identify a suspect involved in an alleged armed robbery this past summer, after DNA evidence failed to generate matches.
Police say they were called to a panic alarm at the Circle K on Bruce Road 10 — north of Hanover — around 3 a.m. back on July 19, 2025.
“Investigation revealed that a lone male suspect entered the store armed with a large machete. The suspect presented the weapon to the store clerk and demanded cash from the register,” West Grey Police say in a release.
West Grey Police say DNA evidence was collected and submitted to the Centre of Forensic Sciences, but no matches have been identified.
Now, they’ve shared security camera images of the suspect.
Anyone with information that could help identify him is asked to call West Grey Police or Crime Stoppers.
