Three healthcare services in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound will be receiving provincial funding to help with diagnostic and surgical services.
The Province of Ontario announced that Brightshores Health System will receive support to provide additional CT services to the tune of $1,369,000.
South Bruce Grey Health Centre is receiving $400,000 for incremental surgical recovery.
Hanover District Hospital will also be receiving surgical recovery money, with $33,700 in funding from the province.
MPP Paul Vickers said in a media release that the investment will help clear backlogs.
Vickers shared how grateful he was to the Health Minister Sylvia Jones and the Ministry of health for the funding support.
