Seven charges were laid after OPP found a suspect hauling a stolen snowmobile in Seaforth.
Police say they were contacted about a suspicious pickup in the Huron East town, parked with a snowmobile in its box.
According to reports, the snowmobile was reported stolen in 2025.
The suspect was found nearby, police say, and a 44 year old from Bluewater has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation – (two counts)
- Fraud Over $5,000
- Public Mischief
- Fail to Comply with Release Order – (two counts)
