The Town of The Blue Mountains is warning of a high risk of flooding in parts of Clarksburg due to frazil ice buildup on the Beaver River.
Water levels are rising, with the greatest risk north of Clark Street between Margaret Street and Jubilee Drive. But more properties, including downtown Clarksburg, could be impacted if water levels continue to rise.
Residents are urged to protect valuables, avoid riverbanks, and report flooding to the Town.
Crews will continue to try to remove the ice and monitor water levels.
