
Southern Georgian Bay OPP are investigating a collision between a snowmobile and a pickup truck that sent one person to hospital.
Police say that the crash happened in Tiny Township, at the intersection of Concession 12 and an a trail operated by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.
Simcoe County Paramedics were called to the scene.
The 50-year-old snowmobile operator is said to have suffered life-altering injuries in the collision just before 10 o’clock Saturday morning, and was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, and the roadway and trail were closed for a period of time while investigators were at the scene, but have since reopened.
